When the first school bells ring for the 2022 school year, Meridiana will proudly be the only Texas 288 community with all three levels of education within or adjacent to the community.
This August, Iowa Colony High School will open its doors for the first time, joining the onsite Meridiana Elementary (opened in 2016) and the onsite Caffey Junior High School (opened in 2021), to provide residents with the convenience of new neighborhood schools delivering a top-tier education from kindergarten through high school.
Even if the little ones aren’t quite ready for the classroom, Meridiana has that covered with the onsite early childhood education facility, Future Explorers Academy, opening in early 2023.
While modern and convenient schools are one of Meridiana’s key features, they are just part of its unwavering commitment to education.
As Houston’s first community dedicated to education for all life stages, Meridiana offers an abundant collection of outdoor learning labs where families can experience various principles of science through play.
At the waterfront Galileo’s Lab playground, families learn about the constellations, sound waves and other principles of science. In the waterfront Oasis Village, the community’s iconic 60-foot Meridian Tower operates similar to a sun tower by casting a shadow that moves as the Earth rotates. Educational components can be found at several other parks, playgrounds and outdoor settings, ensuring an exciting learning experience throughout Meridiana.
To experience these and other features of one of the nation’s 50 top-selling master-planned communities, visit Meridiana’s Welcome Center, 4003 Meridiana Parkway, where a knowledgeable community representative can guide you on a tour of Oasis Village. While at the Welcome Center, you can also learn about Meridiana’s showcase of models and new homes ready for immediate move in.
To reach the community, take the Meridiana Parkway exit from Texas 288, just minutes south of Pearland, heading north or south. Model homes are open daily.
