IOWA COLONY, TX (October, 2024) – Meridiana, the community of new homes minutes south of Pearland, is teaming up with Military Moms and Wives of Brazoria County to collect donations throughout October to create care packages for deployed military personnel stationed around the world.
The month-long collection aims to provide comforting snacks and essential items for the men and women serving in the United States Armed Forces.
Individuals are encouraged to donate Nature Valley Granola Bars, Fruit Roll-Ups, Propel drink mix packets, Ramen Noodle soup packets and Cup of Noodles packets, items that provide convenient, lightweight and non-perishable sources of energy, hydration and comfort in the most challenging of environments.
Donations can be dropped off at Meridiana’s Oasis Village Welcome Center, located at 4003 Meridiana Parkway. The center is open for donations Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. For more information, call (281) 915-5515.
The collection initiative follows the efforts of Meridiana staff who recently came together to assemble 300 snack bags for service members stationed at the border.
