Meridiana’s 6th Annual Paws on the Parkway returns Saturday, April 2 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. for what promises to be another doggone good time featuring a runway-style dog costume contest, the high-flying Houston Disc Dogs, pictures with the Easter Bunny and adoptable dogs presented by the Brazoria County SPCA.
Open to the public with free admission, the paws-itively fun outing at Meridiana’s Oasis Village also will offer face painters, local vendors and food truck cuisine. Grab a bite to eat, gifts for your best friend, and then enjoy fun activities. Leashed pets are welcome at this event.
In addition to presenting dogs for adoption, Brazoria County SPCA will be accepting donations of items in need including 13-gallon trash bags, paper towels, liquid dish soap and liquid laundry soap and Petco/PetSmart gift cards for emergency supplies. We’re excited to be a part of supporting our local animal shelters.
