On pace to set another single-year new home sales record, the Texas 288 community of Meridiana has moved up in its ranking among the nation’s top-selling master-planned communities for the first half of 2024, according to a new report by RCLCO Real Estate Consulting.
Ranked #27 with 302 new homes sold in the first half of 2024, Meridiana is well on its way to shatter its 2023 totals, when the community set a single-year sales record with 497 homes sold the entire year.
“We continue to see buyers coming to Meridiana representing all life stages, from first-time buyers to active empty nesters and everyone in between,” says Matt Lawson, president of Rise Communities, developer of Meridiana. “There’s absolutely something here for everyone.”
Lawson adds prospective buyers also are attracted to the community’s onsite schools, two distinct amenity villages, an expanded builder line up, convenient Texas 288 location, numerous parks and miles of trails.
Among its many features, Meridiana offers resort-style fitness and entertainment amenities at two distinct venues: the waterfront Oasis Village and Adventure Cove, an unrivaled resident-only setting featuring a spacious wave pool, winding tidal river, recreation pool, fitness center, central lawn, outdoor fitness space, large pavilion and food truck park. Residents also enjoy 100+ acres of parks and more than 50 miles of paved trails for walking, jogging and biking.
Meridiana opened in 2017 as a thoughtfully planned community centered around education for all life stages. Since then, the community has added two onsite elementary schools (Meridiana Elementary and Bennet Elementary), the onsite Caffey Junior High School, and the onsite early childhood education facility, Future Explorers Academy. Iowa Colony High School is located adjacent to the community.
Meridiana is conveniently located minutes south of Pearland. To reach the community, take the Meridiana Parkway exit from Texas 288 heading north or south.
